A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENTHello neighbors,As we head into the holiday season there are a few items we want to update you on…Regarding ongoing questions with our Bylaws and which version we should be following our lawyers have taken over this process. They are rewriting the bylaws to be as up to date as possible. They will then make sure we follow the process needed to approve the new document. Then they will make sure the approved bylaws are properly registered. Just a heads up on the process. It's like that we will need to call a community meeting with at least 100 members in good standing just to hold the meeting. Not everyone would need to attend that meeting. The just of quorum of those who do attend to approve. Stay tuned for more details.This is a good exercise for preparing us to update the Community Restrictions which are more of a priority for the board. We would need 300 responses to hold a meeting for that. Hopefully we can look at that in the new year!The code has changed at the basketball courts. If you're a registered user you should have received a notification of the change. Please do not share this code with anyone not in your immediate family. If you want to register to get the code please CLICK HERE.There is a library box installed on the corner by the tennis courts for community usage. Instructions were sent out last month about usage of the resource. Please feel free to stop by.A reminder to be respectful of other people's property and opinions during this election time. I would also encourage you to talk with your children to remind them that many homes now have Ring and now video available to give to the police if needed for any incident.Lastly, the board has decided not to have a Christmas Party this year. In this environment it doesn't make sense. Hopefully next year things will be different.We wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday!Best,Dave
