Bay Hills Community Association, Inc. Minutes of Monthly Meeting- June 2019 Held on June 5, 2019 at the Bay Hills Pavilion In Attendance: David Eckels, Bob Ray, Nancy Fink, Dave Glaser, Jeff Burkhart, Al Kohler, Amanda Rambo, Ryan Bauer, Ed Dawson, Annie Kersey (by phone), Mary Cortes, Oliver Perry, Adam Miller The meeting was called to order at 7:36 p.m. by President Dave Eckels. Welcome & Approval of Meeting Minutes: Dave Eckels Treasurer’s Report: Communications/Social: Next community social event is the BHCA BBQ scheduled for June 15. Signups for attendance and volunteering are available at bayhillsonline.com Crab Feast is on the books for August Dumpsters are scheduled for July 19-20 BHCA website traffic and page activity is up significantly since the launch of the new site Email click-throughs are also strong Feedback has been extremely positive Several individuals and businesses have inquired about website advertising Different features of the new site will be highlighted in the Beacon over the next few months Looking at ways to create additional interest in the site, including surveys, etc.
Property & Grounds: Work on the basketball courts will begin in the next two weeks, with an expected six to eight week completion AA County will install a fence at the bottom of the outfall, a fence around the courts, and locks on the gates to limit court use to community members only The Board is in the process of selecting a contractor to manage the structural work on the Pavilion Power-washing of the tennis courts will be complete in the coming weeks A group of community members have requested that BHCA pay for regular mowing of an empty lot adjacent to their properties. The Board has declined the request in the immediate term.
