End of Summer Celebration

This event was a success! A big thanks to Paige Skrickus for planning this celebration and many other events!

Issues with ProCom

ProCom is the company Bay Hills uses to manage our community. They recently have switched to a new system, and it has caused a number of issues. One of the issues is the processing of our community dues. We are asking the community to please check and make sure the check you wrote for your dues has cleared.

Halloween Parade

The Halloween Parade is set for Sunday, October 30th at 5:00 p.m. This event is for all ages! Even if you don’t have a child in the parade, we would still love for you to attend and support all the kids dressed up!

An event was created on the Bay Hills Network Facebook page. Kindly RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

The Holiday Party is in the works, please be on the lookout for more information in the coming months.

Call to Order 

• Welcome

Called to order at 7:40 PM

• Minutes of Last Meeting Approval

Meeting minutes were approved

Treasurer's Report (Jeff B)

• Issues with Truist.

  • Closing accounts, failure to stop sending statements to old board members…

  • Investing moving accounts to M&T in Bay Dale Shopping Center

• Fran sent ProCom Info today

  • Issues with ProCom and processing dues, sending financials late or not sent for a couple of months.  New system they are using appears to have been causing issues.

• Dues & payment

  • There are a number of checks that have not processed through (Included Dawson who did pay. Going to follow-up.)

  • Treasurer noted issues with insurance payment and had to deal with this issue today.

  • Has also moved banks.

• Reaching out to Victory Management for possible change.

→ Move to approve the Treasurer's report.  Approved pending audit.

Communications/Social/ Recreation (Paige S, Michele B, Ed D)

• Fall Fling

  • Well attended, about 100 people

  • Bounce house and families appeared to enjoy.

• Michele noted issues with Court codes.  Shared Skedda link with Michele Bauer.

• Food truck schedule

  • Will continue to add more trucks.

  • Winter location is Golf Course & Shore Acres.

• Newsletter going out 

• Up Coming Events:

  • Halloween parade Oct 5th. Starting at 5pm on Golf Circle with food truck (Hotdog Hideout)

  • End of Year Party planning - Possibly at local restaurant… 

• Question about neighboring apartments and condo units and participation in events.

• Newsletter advertising - Board proposed up and approved starting advertising fee of $25 per ad for a single business or if paid upfront for a year $20 per ad for a single business.

Traffic

• Policing Bill

• Any concerns?

Capital Improvements/Long Range Planning

• Signage - Old and falling apart.  

• Accident by shopping center destroyed “Bay Hills” sign, but the sign was on shopping center property. 

Property & Grounds

• Playground Mulching

  • 2 inch of profession wood mulch = $1000

• Minor repairs to playground boarder needed

  • 3 - 6x6x12 preplacement on front left side = $440

Board approved these two items.

• Wood chips for around Tennis Courts = $1600

      Board will look into getting chips from Richards for chips from them.

• Ordering more mold killer for back court (about $25)

New Business

• Due to proposed By-Laws modifications/ updates, possible change of property management, and audit board had moved the Annual Meeting to January 11th, 2023 and will fit into original By-Laws. 

Old Business

• None

Covenants / By-Laws

• Need member for Covenants

• By Law update plan Everything is being handled by our lawyers. 

  • Meeting to review By-Laws planned Oct 4th at 6pm, location to be determined.

Open question/Comments 

 In meeting discussion → Sales of homes and signs of people doing home projects have been noticed.  Sale prices continue to show our neighborhood is a desirable location.
